About Amplicon Middle East Company
Amplicon Middle East is a Dubai-based value-added distributor of industrial computing, IoT, edge AI, and networking solutions. Operating since 2011 as the regional arm of Amplicon International (UK), we serve system integrators, enterprises, and government organizations across the UAE and the wider GCC.
We are an authorized distributor for world-leading industrial technology brands including Advantech, Getac, Robustel, Nexcom, ASUS IoT, HMS Networks, Innodisk, Transcend, RealWear, and Panorama Antennas. We also engineer our own Amplicon Liveline range of industrial computing and monitoring systems built for the Middle East.
Our office is located at The Exchange Tower, Office 901, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE (P.O. Box 112562). From Dubai, our logistics and support teams deliver across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the wider GCC.
We support a wide range of industry verticals including oil and gas, transportation and smart mobility, utilities, water and wastewater, power, process automation, defense and public safety, telecom, and government digital transformation projects across the GCC.
Yes. All industrial computers and devices supplied by Amplicon Middle East come with manufacturer warranty backed by our local engineering team in Dubai. We provide pre-sales consultation, system configuration, integration support, and after-sales service throughout the product lifecycle.
Rugged Tablets & Laptops Getac
Rugged devices such as Getac tablets and laptops are engineered to survive conditions that destroy consumer hardware. They are independently certified to MIL-STD-810H for shock, drop, and vibration, carry IP65/IP66 ratings against dust and water ingress, and operate across wide temperature ranges — critical for outdoor field work in Gulf summer heat.
For utility, inspection, and field-service teams in the UAE, fully rugged Getac tablets are a proven choice. They combine sunlight-readable displays exceeding 1,000 nits, glove- and wet-touch screens, hot-swappable batteries for full-shift operation, and wide operating temperatures suited to +50°C desert deployments. Our engineers can help you match a model to your exact application.
Yes. Many rugged tablets support modular expansion including RTK GPS for centimeter-level precision mapping, 1D/2D barcode scanners, RFID/NFC, smart card readers, and dedicated RS232 serial ports for connecting legacy field instruments — a common requirement in utilities and industrial surveying.
Industrial Routers & IoT Gateways Robustel
An industrial cellular router, such as those from Robustel, is built for unattended operation in harsh environments: fanless metal enclosures, wide temperature tolerance, DIN-rail mounting, dual SIM failover, and industrial protocols. Unlike office routers, they are designed for 24/7 connectivity at remote sites like pump stations, substations, ATMs, and vehicles.
RCMS (Robustel Cloud Manager Service) is a centralized platform for managing fleets of routers and gateways remotely. It enables mass configuration, firmware updates, real-time monitoring, and alerting — essential for operators managing hundreds of connected sites across the UAE and GCC without sending engineers to each location.
Yes. Industrial-grade routers commonly support dual SIM automatic failover between carriers, plus secure VPN tunnels (IPsec, OpenVPN, GRE) to protect data from remote assets back to your control center or cloud platform — a standard requirement for critical infrastructure in the region.
Industrial PCs & Edge AI Advantech · Nexcom · ASUS IoT
A fanless industrial PC, such as the Advantech MIC series, cools passively through its chassis with no moving parts. In dusty, hot Middle East environments this removes the most common failure point — fans clogged with sand and dust — while sealed designs and wide-temperature components keep systems running reliably in cabinets, vehicles, and outdoor enclosures.
Embedded industrial PCs offer long-term availability (typically 7–10 years), industrial-grade components rated for continuous 24/7 operation, wide voltage input, rich legacy I/O (serial, digital I/O, isolated LAN), and certifications for industrial use. Standard desktops are consumer-grade, short-lifecycle, and not designed for vibration, heat, or unattended operation.
Edge AI runs machine learning inference directly on-site — on platforms like ASUS IoT and Nexcom edge computers with GPU or NPU acceleration — instead of sending raw data to the cloud. You need it when latency, bandwidth, or data sovereignty matter: smart gates, machine vision inspection, traffic analytics, and security applications across the UAE increasingly rely on edge AI.
In-vehicle computers from brands like Nexcom power fleet telematics, mobile surveillance, passenger information, and logistics applications. They feature ignition power management, shock and vibration resistance, wide temperature operation, and built-in cellular/GPS — designed for buses, trucks, trains, and emergency vehicles operating on Gulf roads.
Industrial Storage & Connectivity Innodisk · Transcend · HMS · Panorama
Industrial SSDs and memory from Innodisk and Transcend use higher-endurance NAND, wide-temperature ratings (-40°C to +85°C), power-loss protection, and fixed BOM control so components do not change mid-lifecycle. Consumer drives fail early under continuous industrial write loads and heat — a costly risk for embedded and edge systems.
A protocol gateway, such as HMS Networks' Anybus range, translates between industrial protocols — for example Modbus to PROFINET, or serial to EtherNet/IP — so legacy machines and modern control systems can communicate. They are essential when integrating older plant equipment into modern SCADA, IIoT, or cloud monitoring platforms.
Antenna choice from ranges like Panorama depends on frequency bands (4G/5G, GNSS, Wi-Fi), gain requirements, mounting environment, and the MIMO configuration of your router. In the GCC, UV-stable, IP-rated outdoor antennas are recommended for rooftop and roadside installations. Our team can spec the correct antenna for your gateway.
Wearables, Liveline & Services RealWear · Amplicon
Assisted reality headsets like RealWear are voice-controlled, hands-free wearable computers worn with hard hats and PPE. Field technicians use them for remote expert support, digital work instructions, and inspection documentation — reducing travel and downtime in oil and gas, utilities, and manufacturing across the Middle East.
Amplicon Liveline is our own line of high-performance industrial computing and real-time monitoring systems — designed, built, and tested by Amplicon engineers using proven components from partners like Advantech, Robustel, and ASUS IoT. Liveline systems are engineered for the Middle East, supported locally, and backed by our name and reputation.
