The new EKI-9508 and EKI-9510 M12 Ethernet switches are built for the future of intelligent transportation, delivering ultra-reliable connectivity in the toughest environments. Available in 8-port and 10-port models, they are certified by ITxPT, E-Mark, and EN50155, ensuring seamless deployment across public transport, in-vehicle, and railway networks. Designed for maximum durability, their IP67-rated housing and IEC 61373 compliance guarantee resilience against shock, vibration, and extreme conditions. Offering both managed and unmanaged options with Fast or Gigabit Ethernet, PoE models deliver up to 90W to power cameras, wireless APs, and more. With compact and secure M12 connectors, installation is effortless—even in space-constrained setups—making these switches the ultimate choice for mission-critical mobility networks.

Supports Vehicle Ignition with Delayed Power-Off

  • The EKI-9508/9510-ST series supports the ignition function, allowing it to recognize the vehicle’s ignition on/off status.
  • The Ethernet switches remain powered on for 60 minutes after key-off.

Supports Software ‘Module Inventory’

The ITxPT framework focuses on interoperability between different systems and vendors. A module inventory supports this by ensuring that all modules are correctly identified and can communicate with each other across different platforms.

E-Mark R10 & R118 Certification

  • E-Mark R10 primarily concerns Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).
  • E-Mark R118 concerns the burning behavior of materials and tests their resistance to flame propagation.

With R10 and R118 certifications, the EKI-9508/9510-ST series is approved for EMC and fire protection in in-vehicle applications.
